Four Months
It's been four months since I've touched this. Wow.
Mostly this was for me to use to debug my friend's website, but I decided to hang on to it. I still will. I might need it some day.
Saturday (the 23rd) is my birthday. I'm both looking forward to it - and blah about it. Another year gone. Another year unsubmitted, unpublished. And birthdays aren't the same since my mom passed away anyway. *sigh*
Part of this might be because I've been sick lately. There's a nasty virus going around - and of course, I caught it. Plus - and get this - I have Swimmer's Ear. WTF? Doc thinks it might be because I've been in a rush the last couple of months and didn't get all the soap rinsed out of my ears. Great.
The ringing in my ears is drowning out the voices in my head. They're quite upset about it. ;-)

I made a progress meter!
Okay - I confess - I did it because my friend wants one. ;-) She's getting into blogging and she wants stuff, you know? And I just happen to have the meager capibilities to either create, steal, or adapt things for her! Okay, it's honest stealing...open source, up for free stuff, but hey, it's more dramatic to say it that way, isn't it? LOL!

I fixed my friend's site. I *love* doing stuff like that. She was my best friend for many years, and then...well, to be honest...she met a boy. And this boy...well, he didn't like most of her friends much...so slowly, he managed to steal her away from us. :-( But then, as life would have it, we met back up at our 15-year H.S. reunion!
15 YEARS! If you can imagine that.... But you know, while we do have some events to catch up on, it doesn't feel like it's been that long. ^_^ The only really sad thing is that she lives 2100 miles away! AUGH! I am really really hoping to go back and visit her this summer though.
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I created this mostly so that I could help my friend figure out what she did wrong with hers! Ha! Just the sort of thing I'd do in My Crazy Universe. Now, I already have several other blogs - and websites - and so on...but I think I'll keep this one for things that I can't/wouldn't/shouldn't post elsewhere.
